Generally, women over 60 years old in Brazil make this gesture a lot with their hand close to their forehead or above it when they are stressed about something and say "To por aqui", as if we were bottles full of stress and about to overflow, dynamites almost bursting, exploding point, something like "I've had it up to here" is like "I'm at this level of nervous/stress/irritation".And when they lose emotional control over a situation, they say "That was the last straw", that is, the anger overflowed ;)
Yes, we do do that in Turkish and the expression is almost the same: "It's come up to my here.". I know "my here" doesn't make sense in English but in Turkish it does. It basically means "this part of my body" or "this height, compared to me". And that part is usually around your throat or mouth.
In Brazil we do this gesture when we are annoyed and say exactly the same expression as in English in Portuguese "Estou por aqui!"
